It's all about Tim!We can't give the inn itself a 5, because it does need some refreshing. It's a very charming older inn and is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The outdoor enclosed patio and sea view were wonderful. We would however give the owner Tim a 5++, he made the whole experience a complete pleasure. His hospitality reflects a time when guests were made to feel like they mattered. He went out of his way to make everything as pleasant as possible; so much so, that we were sad to say goodbye and felt like we were leaving a friend. We highly recommend staying here.Other things to note: The location was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable, the Wifi performance was free and phenomenally good. Parking in Lunenburg is difficult, but Tim finds ways to make it better. We will happily return.
Great little inn. Had the harbour view room. The view was great. The towels were really soft too! Not to mention the inn keep has a freaking parrot.
Loved this inn. Great view and location. Room nice and clean. Very friendly staff. If staying in Lunenburg, I highly recommend the Rum Runner Inn.
Enjoyed our one night stay in Lunenburg at the Rum Runner Inn. The location was ideal for walking to restaurants and attractions! The proprietor Tim was very accommodating and made sure that we had parking nearby. The beds very comfortable and the view from the balcony terrace was spectacular, would highly recommend. Our visit to Lunenburg was better than expected!
Wonderful place to stay! Clean, quiet and well appointed. The bedding and linens are plush and of a way better quality than your usual hotel standards!!
