Exceptional is an understatement. Our multi-day kayak tour was an incredible experience - even for our 6-year-old first-time camper. Our guide was knowledgeable, engaging, and attended to every detail with thought and care. And you could not ask for a most beautiful location. From our first planning conversation to landing at the end of an unforgettable three days, our experience exceeded our very high expectations.
We had a great time on the Paddle to the Seals trip. Our guide, Finn, told us lots of interesting facts about the area's ecology and history. The route was very interesting; we went through narrow channels, some open water, and took a different route on the way back. The guards kept us a respectful distance from the seals, I wished I had binoculars. The snack was great with fresh fruit and apple cinnamon loaf! The equipment was high-quality and kept in good repair. The area itself is absolutely gorgeous.
Great place to Kayak, beautiful views and the staff are great. The little general store next door is cute and had some great organic food!
This is a must place if you love kayaking. Well protected in the small islands the views are spectacular and the waters nice and calm. I understand where the name comes from. The staff are so pleasant and accommodating!
I've toured many times with Karl and his group. Both the Blue Rocks location and Ovens tour are beautiful and relaxing. The kayaks are well taken care of with all the appropriate gear made available. One of the best ways to spend a warm day in the water!
