Lunenburg knows how to show off it self and the folds at the tourist information centre were more than helpful.
Lunenburg is a place you must visit. It Unesco World Heritage Site for being the best example of a British Colonial town. Quite an amazing place. Take a horse drawn carriage tour through town, book a whale watching tour and the have fresh lobster for lunch. Enjoy!
SURPRISE! Who knew this little gem was even here?! Great spot. Really nice staff. Walk right into downtown. Every town should have one of these little parks.
Lunenburg Visitor Information Centre is beautifully located on a hill close to downtown and next to a big camping site. There is a gorgeous monument with a cannon nearby. However, opening hours are quite restricted in the summertime. If you arrive in the evening, you have to improvise and pass by the next morning.
Such a friendly staff at this information centre , gave us great suggestions for what to do and see in Lunenberg. Especially glad we were given directions to Blue Rocks , we would have never seen this beautiful fishing village without their help Karin
