As a former Dollarama employee, I was impressed with the selection, price, and quality of items for sale at the locally owned Dollar Store.
I'm a big fan of this store. I'm consistently impressed with the wide variety of items they sell, more often than not I can find what I'm looking for. It's central location in old town means it's also often my first stop when I need something quickly.

Great selection of souvenirs of Nova Scotia at decent prices. They also have a great selection of everything you need around the house.
Extremely busy and we'll stocked store, but someone is always smoking near the area you walk up to on the far right, in order to enter the store. One day it was an employee, yesterday it was a customer. Smoking is disgusting, but having to smell it turns me completely off of wherever it's associated with.
