Good location within walking distance to downtown Lunenburg. Good size sites and no campfires so we are not being smoked out. No seasonals. Most fellow campers are quiet and friendly.
This is essentially a gravel parking lot with no real trees. The restrooms are poor and should be replaced entirely . Location however is excellent, walking distance to the downtown (albeit a huge hill to traverse on your way back to the campground) . Rates are reasonable and full service sites are available.
We just stopped here to shower because we were boondocking elsewhere. They charged us $5 EACH just to have a 3-5min shower! The washrooms were tiny and shower wasn't very private, but at least it was relatively clean. Campground is just a big gravel lot with sites jammed together - we definitely wouldn't stay there. It is walking distance to town though if you're willing to sacrifice for that. Staff were nice too.
